| Apr 2010 | News America Marketing Participates in 40th Anniversary of Earth Week |
| For the 40th anniversary of Earth Week, we encouraged employees in our 12 offices to participate in a company-wide push to reduce, reuse and recycle. As part of Nike’s Reuse-A-Shoe program, we collected worn-out athletic shoes that are turned into basketball and tennis courts, running tracks, soccer fields, fitness flooring and playground safety surfacing. We also donated old wireless phones to provide assistance with the ongoing disaster relief in Haiti, collected gently used, clean work wear for Career Gear (Men) and Dress for Success (Women) (for which we were awarded the 2010 WorkPlace Company Partner of the Year Award), recycled old batteries and Compact Florescent Light Bulbs (CFL) through Universal Waste Recycling, collected used computer equipment to be repurposed, supported bike-to-work initiatives, and participated in city park clean up events. |

| Feb 2010 | News America Marketing Honors Marines at Annual Super Bowl Event |
| The LA Daily News recently featured an article on Daniel Lorona, one of two men chosen to represent the Marines in a series of events sponsored by News America Marketing. The Marines were flown out to the big game and put up at a luxury hotel in Miami for four nights, then taken around to a series of parties and corporate events. On game day they were honored for their service at a pregame party. |

| Jan 2010 | Coupon Distribution, Redemption Sky High in 2009 |

The results are in and it should come as no surprise that last year, consumers, who were looking to stretch every penny, turned to coupons. Coupon redemption was up 27% over 2008, reversing a consistent decline that had been going on for seventeen years. Along with the increase in redemption, was a record level of coupon distribution: over 367 billion coupon were issued last year, with an average face value of $1.44.
