Part-Time Opportunities

News America Marketing® offers part-time positions in our national Field Force, which installs SmartSource® advertising units in retailers across the country. We offer 2 types of part-time positions:

Advertising Merchandiser:

• Duties include setting up coupon machines, shelf ads, banners and floor ads in grocery, drug and mass merchandise stores for our clients and maintaining those ads for a 4-week period, otherwise known as a cycle
• Our Merchandising employees perform tasks that range from secret shopping to placing instant-rebate stickers to full-scale resets

Carts Merchandiser:

• Duties include changing ads on shopping carts and installing/maintaining brackets in assigned stores
• Employees in this position work 1 week per cycle, unless they wish pick up any open merchandising work

Hours

Hours vary from week to week. We operate on a 4-week cycle. Our part-time employees generally work 20-35 hours during ad-change week and 5-10 hours during the other 3 weeks. Though the job comes with duties that must be completed according to a set schedule, it gives employees the flexibility to select the time of day to complete the tasks.
